The Redondo Beach Library offers a variety of activities for all ages including music, writing, dance, language, reading, crafts and more.

A few require registration but all of them are FREE!

Join bestselling author Gwendolyn Womack for an informal chat to discuss her three novels: The Memory Painter; The Fortune Teller; and The Time Collector. She will discuss how the novels came about and the ins-and-outs of writing a novel. There will be time for questions and answers too.

Note: Due to COVID 19 restrictions, seating at storytimes is limited. Masks required for those over 2 years of age. Pick up tickets for storytimes at the Children’s Reference desk 15 minutes prior to the start time. Ready To Read (3-5 year olds) @ Main Library
Wednesdays at 12:30pm-1:00pm (9/8, 9/15, 9/22 & 9/29)

Children ages 3 to 5 years are encouraged to participate in this storytime. Each themed storytime includes literacy concepts to help get children ready to READ! **Session is limited to 20 individuals on a first-come, first-served basis. Masks required for those over 2 years of age. Get your tickets at the children’s reference desk at 12:15pm.

Family Storytime @ North Branch Library
Thursdays at 1:30pm-2:00pm (9/9, 9/16, 9/23 & 9/30)
