Virtual Family Nature Club: Whales, Saturday, March 13th at 9:30AM Join the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy for the next Virtual Family Nature Club with the special theme of Whales. Chris Boettcher, author and Nicole Boettcher, illustrator of the children’s book Be Brave and Be Kind: the Story of Eleanor the Whale, will be joining us along with a guest from the Cabrillo Marine Aquarium for fun activities you can follow along with at home. Education Docent Orientation: Saturday March 20th, 9am to 11am, virtual event via Zoom. Do you enjoy our local nature and want to share it with others? Become a Nature Center and Education Docent! From assisting with plant sales to mentoring scout badges to guiding field trips, there is so much to choose from! You can even help host virtual nature themed events!
