Polliwog Park Summer Concert Series

Concerts in Polliwog ParkThe City of Manhattan Beach presents the annual Concerts in the Park series kicking off Sunday, July 1 with a Salute to the Troops and running through September 2.

The series is a summer-long event held at Polliwog Park and takes place every Sunday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. Concerts in the Park has featured such artists as the Doo-Wah Riders, Nathan Shrake, Elvis and Beatles tribute Bands, as well as a host of other talented musicians.

The concert schedule is as follows:

-July 8: The DropOffs 3:45 PM to 4:30 PM & Ricardo Lemvo and Makina Loca 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM
-July 15: Jamisen Jarvis 3:45 PM to 4:30 PM & The PettyBreakers, 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM
-July 22: Alinea 3:45 PM to 4:30 PM & The Pine Mountain Logs, 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM
-July 29: Fate Unbound 3:45 PM to 4:30 PM & Jungle Fire 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM
-August 5: Good Vibe 3:45 PM to 4:30 PM & Aileen Quinn and the Leapin’ Lizards 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM
-August 12: Kato Rose 3:45 PM to 4:30 PM & Hard Day’s Night 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM
-August 19: Minor Problem 3:45 PM to 4:30 PM & Doo-Wah Riders 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM
-August 26: Pier Pressure 3:45 PM to 4:30 PM & Blue Breeze Band 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM
-September 2: Chroma Haze 3:45 PM to 4:30 PM & DSB 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM

These performances are free to the public. There are no dogs, barbecues or wheeled vehicles allowed at any time in the concert area. Umbrellas and pop-up tents may be set up before and after the concert but once the concert begins, you will be required to take them down.

Get out your beach chairs, blankets and picnic baskets and head to Polliwog Park for some classic summertime fun!
