The first annual Spicy Green Book Food Market will take place on Saturday, August 21 from noon to 7 p.m. in the Kinecta parking lot.
The event features over 25 vendors offering delicious global foods and fun, family-friendly activities. The menus include everything from tempting vegan donuts to traditional Nigerian dishes.
Kinecta Federal Credit Union has teamed up with Spicy Green Book to host the organization’s first ever Food Market event. Spicy Green Book is a virtual directory for black-owned food and beverage businesses throughout the U.S. and Canada. The nonprofit organization was established in 2020 with a mission to empower black-owned food and beverage businesses to compete and thrive in the marketplace.
