Soroptimist International of Manhattan Beach is hosting the Centennial Dessert Competition to select the Official Dessert for the city’s 100th birthday. This event is Soroptimist’s annual fundraiser and takes place at the Ayers Hotel on Sunday, May 6, 2012. Commercial bakers will create mouthwatering treats that reflect the theme Through the Years. All guests will sample the entries and a panel of judges will determine the winner. In addition, a buffet meal will feature All-American cuisine.
