The Hermosa Beach Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau is proud to announce the Scott Firefighter Combat Challenge on Saturday, September 21 and Sunday, September 22.
The event is being offered to promote the physical fitness of firefighters and will be part of the 20-plus Challenge Tour to be held throughout the United States in 2013.
The Hermosa Beach Firefighters Association is hosting a Meet & Greet to welcome participants and the public on Friday, September 20 at Hennessey’s Tavern located at 8 Pier Plaza in Hermosa Beach from 4 to 8 p.m.
While you must be a firefighter to take part in the competition, the public is encouraged to come and watch as the participants navigate the Challenge course, known as “The toughest two minutes in sports.” (Read More)
