Below is a link for a survey regarding Real Life School.
The survey gauges community/parents’ interest in having a “real life school” across 4-5 weekends for their high school children to better prepare them for real life beyond high school.
Topics include knowing how to cook, do laundry, take care of their immediate living surroundings and property, pay for utility bills, rent, how to handle their money by balancing their checkbook, knowing what their credit score is and what implications it has on their life, how to save and to spend wisely, what frivolous spending looks like and what that means in their life? What an IRA or 401K is? What investment options are open for a young person about to enter the workforce? How to be a good citizen of their community, city, region, state and more.
