Pastel Society Members Exhibition

Pastel-SocietyThe Pastel Society of Southern California hosts the eighth annual Members Exhibition March 17 through May 4 at the South Bay Lexus Service Center.

The show features paintings by nationally recognized pastel artists, as well as local PSSC members from the South Bay and the greater Southern California area. With 150 artworks on display, it represents one of the area’s largest collections of original pastel paintings, most of which are available for purchase. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The community is invited to a Gala Reception and Awards Presentation on Sunday, April 22, from 12 to 4 p.m. Juried entries were selected by Liz Hayward-Sullivan and will be judged by Tony Allain, both internationally acclaimed pastel artists. A free pastel landscape demonstration by Mr. Allain will be offered to the public from 2 to 3 p.m. during the opening reception.
