On Tuesday, December 6, the Torrance Police and Fire Departments will team up for Coffee with a Cop at 85C Bakery Café from 8 to 10 a.m.
The Coffee with a Cop program was started by the Hawthorne Police Department in 2011 as a way to help break down barriers between police and the community. The concept is simple, police officers and community members come together in an informal, neutral space to discuss community issues, build relationships, and drink coffee.
Everyone is welcome to join the Torrance PD and their partners in Public Safety, the Torrance Fire Department for this extra special joint Coffee with a Cop event.
The 2016 Torrance Police & Fire Holiday Toy Drive will also be well underway. If you would like to donate an unwrapped toy, they will be more than happy to accept them at this event.
Participation is not required in order to join us for coffee!
