The Western Museum of Flight presents the Celebrity Lecture Series: The Legacy of the YF-17 on Sunday, September 12 at 1 p.m.
The evolution of the US Navy’s front line fighter bomber, from the YF-17 prototype to the highly advanced F/A-18 E/F Super Hornet, will be presented by veteran test pilot, Jim Sandberg, Colonel USMC retired. Jim will lead us through the thirty year saga that culminated in this remarkable airplane.
Admission is free for museum members and $10 for non-members.
