Boeing STEM Signing Day

April 29, 2021

The 2021 STEM Signing Day will take place on April 29 at 12:30 p.m.

The application is open for 2021 STEM Signing Day presented by Boeing and Powered by Tallo. All Los Angeles County high school seniors who plan to attend a two-year or four-year college or university and pursue a S.T.E.M degree or program are eligible to apply on Tallo.

WHAT IS STEM SIGNING DAY?
Just like Signing Day for athletes, Boeing’s California STEM Signing Day will celebrate high school students in Los Angeles County as they make their commitment to education programs focusing on science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).

Boeing recognizes the high demand for STEM talent in the United States, and California STEM Signing Day is an opportunity to celebrate and uplift the diverse homegrown talent in Los Angeles who are interested in pursuing a STEM career. Selected students and their families will be invited to a virtual ceremony and special presentation with Boeing corporate leaders, community partners, and other esteemed guests. At this virtual event, students will sign “letters of intent” to pursue their chosen STEM field. Student honorees will also have the option of participating in a yearlong Boeing mentorship program as college freshmen.

WHO SHOULD APPLY?
Los Angeles County high school seniors graduating in the spring of 2021. Students must demonstrate a specific interest in the science, technology, engineering, and math fields, with plans to pursue a two-year or four-year degree in a related field. Students of color and females are strongly encouraged to apply.
