In order to get past the recent shooting tragedy at the Gable House Bowl, the owners have decided to do away with karaoke and re-introduce classic rock bands on Friday nights. The Jokers will play in Jack’s Place Bar on Friday, June 14 from 9:30 p.m. to 1 a.m.
The Jokers are a new classic rock band of veteran South Bay musicians billing themselves as playing “the party hits you grew up with!” The Jokers play Old School dance rock, from Roy Orbison to the Young Rascals, Creedence Clearwater Revival to the Beatles, the Stones to Marvin Gaye and the Four Tops to the Eagles.
