Fill The Pool Fundraiser

Fill the PoolSouth Bay Sports, Health and Recreation announced today that the El Segundo Aquatics Center is kicking off the Fill the Pool spring community fundraising initiative to raise $500,000 towards the completion of the world-class facility.

The three-week fundraiser will run from April 4 until April 24, and proceeds are part of the effort to help raise the final $3 million still needed for the project. The facility is scheduled to break ground on Thursday, April 27, where the total from the Fill the Pool fundraiser will be announced.

ELSEGUNDISSIMO is a crowd-sourced Experience, based on community feedback. What could be done better in the city? What are the sore spots, the sticking points, the areas that need improvement?

ESMoA Drawing Club

ESMoA - Just DrawEl Segundo Museum of Art hosts the Drawing Club every Friday in April from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

In this informal drawing club, attendees will start with warm-up drawing exercises and then take inspiration from the featured artworks. No artistic experience is required and all supplies will be provided. This program is for adults.

Demonstrative Dinner Party

Demonstrative Dinner PartyBettolino has teamed up with Custom Design to host a Demonstrative Dinner Party on Thursday, May 4 at 6:30 in the Custom Design Showroom.

Chef Fabio Ugoletti will teach attendees how to cook a five-course meal paired with wine. The class will start with light appetizers, work toward two main course dishes, and end with dessert.

This event is perfect for those who want to learn how to cook, or simply taste, delicious Italian food and wine from Bettolino.

Mom’s Day Out @ The Point

Moms, aunties, grandmas and friends are invited to stroll through The Point and The Collection (at Plaza El Segundo) while enjoying beauty touch-ups, champagne, brunch specials, shopping incentives, and more! This FREE, passport event includes an afternoon full of pampering and all things fabulous from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and the first 50 ladies to register upon arrival will receive a complimentary gift!

Woodie’s Picnic

Drive your classic Woodie and family and friends to the ADM for fun times, good food and great music! Attendees will enjoy live music by surf band, Jetpack, and food will be available for purchase. There will also be a display of vintage longboards in the Museum’s Ballroom. Bring your boards with display stands by 10am May 20th. Display tables will also be available. No FEES, its FREE! Founded by Brian and Eva Sweeney and curated by Bernhard Zuenkeler, ESMoA is a non-profit art space located in a new building next to the former post office on Main Street.

Vintage Car Rides @ The Automobile Driving Museum

Located in El Segundo, the ADM exists to preserve automotive history. The ADM has an impressive, rotating collection of 130 classic, antique and historic cars on display.

Several Southern California collector car clubs showcase their vehicles at the ADM and on any given weekend you can find collections of particular makes and models.
