The eighth annual Sunscreen Film Festival will take place on Thursday, October 22 at 7 p.m. for one night only at Gardena Cinema’s Outdoor Drive-In.
Going into it’s eighth year in the South Bay area of Los Angeles, the Sunscreen Film Festival screens top notch films, provides stellar workshops and panels packed with Hollywood talent, and hosts great parties. Everyone that attends Sunscreen is accessible and easy to interact with. Many filmmakers love the open atmosphere during the festival and appreciate the chance to learn from one another.
It will be a full slate of shorts under the stars, concessions, DJ, and fun for the whole family! Due to the pandemic, adjustments have been made, but the show must go on! The schedule is as follows:
5:30 PM – Gates Open (Arrive early for best Drive-In spots)
6:30 PM – Welcoming address and Introduction.
7:00 PM – The Films!!
8:15 PM – 15 minute intermission!
8:30 PM – More Films!!
10:00 PM – Q&A with Filmmakers (Subject to availability) Opening Night Finale
One $30 ticket covers everyone in one car (sedan/truck/suv/minivan). This event has a limited vehicle capacity. Early ticket purchase is highly advised.
