South Bay YMCA Needs Your Help

Ongoing

A message from the South Bay YMCA…..

As the U.S. undergoes this massive response to COVID-19, I know you’re well aware that your Y has worked day and night to rise to the challenges.

Your investment in the Y has never been more important or urgently needed. If we are around today, we will be here to help our communities tomorrow.

Today we announce that we will campaign to raise $3M for the Y’s Emergency Community Impact Fund in response to this pandemic. This comes on the heels of a $1,000,000 matching fund commitment from a member of the Y’s Board of Directors. Beginning today our generous donors will match your investment in the Emergency Community Impact Fund dollar for dollar.

Your investment will directly support the many needs stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic, including:

> Child care to first responders, front line medical workers and essential workers
> Grab & Go meals for hungry children
> A shower program for individuals and families who are homeless
> Home delivery of nutritionally balanced meals to homebound seniors
> Groceries to the food-insecure families who are suddenly out of work
> Hosting life-saving blood drives.

Your support will carry us now through this crisis, and beyond. We cannot shy away when our communities need the Y the most. We are deeply grateful to you for your support of the Y always, and especially now. Please join the Y in this cause and give today at ymcaLA.org/EmergencyFund or contact me at SteveMacAller@ymcaLA.org.
