South Bay Stories Show

March 30 & 31, 2019

The South Bay Stories Show presents two performances on Saturday, March 30 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, March 31 at 2:30 p.m. at the Second Story Theater in Hermosa Beach.

The event features 8 performers including Redondo Beach District 4 Council Member, John Gran and musical storyteller Alex Hahn, who will tell a story with his saxophone and then he’ll tell about his love of music. Jim Lobdell will tell what he learned many years ago in the “University of Harlem.” Two storytellers are fluent in French. One was a US diplomat in Paris, and the other learned because she’s a Vermillion. John Gran will tell what happened when he decided to try politics. An actor found comfort from grief in “The Odd Couple.” A woman tells of trying to marry off a difficult aunt. A father is led into the depths of kindly community service by his eight year-old son. Last but not least – a surprise this year: stand-up comedy.

Tickets are $20 per person.
