For the Pokémon enthusiasts…..
Torrance public libraries have recently been transformed into Poke stops. This is the first week where gamers can stop by and stock up on various potions and Poke balls.
Library officials say that they release lures three times a day with the hopes of increasing traffic to the libraries. Evan Coates, the senior librarian at the Southeast Library says the game is not only something that many people are into right now, but that playing the game at the library fits perfectly, since they have a lot of Pokemon materials.
The lures are released at the Southeast Library on Monday-Thursday at 11:30 a.m., 2 p.m. and 4:45 p.m., and at 1 p.m. on Saturdays. But if you are playing the game, be sure to check out all Torrance libraries…..you might be surprised.
The libraries are located at:
