South Bay Easter Egg Hunts & Bunny Photo Ops

The Easter Bunny has been busy! He’s been hiding eggs, chocolate and other treats and there are several opportunities to find them at various Easter Egg Hunts scheduled throughout the South Bay!

El Segundo

The El Segundo Recreation and Parks Department hosts an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 20 starting at 9:30 a.m. in Recreation Park. Participants will be separated into several age groups for the hunt. Recreation Park is located at 401 Sheldon Street in El Segundo. The Church of the Beach Cities will host an Egg Hunt and Bunny Hop Photo Booth on Sunday, April 21 after morning services at 9:30 and 11:30 a.m. A multi-cultural, multi-generational church for unchurched locals seeking a place to belong, the Church of the Beach Cities is located at 859 Main Street in El Segundo. Gardena

An Easter Bunny Brunch event will be held Saturday, April 20 at the Nakaoka Community Center located at 1670 West 162 Street in Gardena. Brunch will take place from 8 a.m. through 1 p.m. with the Easter Egg Hunt beginning at 10 a.m. Pre-sale tickets for the Easter Bunny Brunch are available at the Nakaoka Community Center before the day of the event. Pre-Sale tickets are $5.00 each for adult or child. The day of the event, tickets at the door will be priced at $7 each. Hawthorne

The City of Hawthorne will host a Bunny Breakfast on Saturday, April 13 at 9 a.m. at the Hawthorne Memorial Center located at 3901 West El Segundo Boulevard. The event features a continental breakfast, entertainment, treats, egg hunt and more. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Bring your own basket! Early registration is suggested because seating is limited. The cost is $$ for children and $6 for adults. Lawndale

The City of Lawndale hosts an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 20 starting at 10 a.m. at William Green Park. There are hunts for children of all ages and activities include crafts and pictures with the Easter Bunny. All hunts begin at 10 a.m. and be sure to bring a basket. Lomita

Make your way to Lomita Park Saturday, April 20. Breakfast with the Bunny starts at 8 a.m. The Egg Hunt will begin at 9:30 a.m. The Easter bunny will be available for pictures. This event is free. Manhattan Beach

The Easter Bunny will be at the Downtown Manhattan Beach Farmers’ Market on Tuesday, April 16 from 11:30 to 12:30 at Metlox Plaza. Join the egg hunt, take a train ride and some photos with everyone’s favorite furry friend. No photographer will be provided, so bring your camera! Palos Verdes Peninsula

The Promenade on the Peninsula presents the annual Easter Bunny Breakfast on Saturday, April 13 from 8:30 to 10 a.m. This fun-filled morning with the Easter Bunny includes breakfast and refreshments. Tickets are $15 for adults and kids under 12 are free. Tickets are available at Ruby’s at Promenade on the Peninsula. St. Luke’s Presbyterian Church will host a Community Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 20 from from 10 a.m. to noon. This FREE family event includes live music, refreshments, crafts, games, face painting jumper and an egg hunt. St. Luke’s is located 26825 Rolling Hills Road in Rolling Hills Estates. The Neighborhood Church will host an Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday, April 21 at 10 a.m. The hunt will take place between services on the south lawn, or in the Fellowship Hall in case of rain. To RSVP, bring one dozen filled plastic eggs per child participating, by Thursday, April 18th. On Easter Sunday, bring a basket and a friend and come join the fun! South Bay Galleria celebrates Easter with several themed events April 2 through April 20. The April Kids Club event will feature Easter Arts & Crafts and a custom photo booth on Tuesday, April 2 at 6 p.m. A Sensory Friendly Bunny Event will take place on Sunday, April 7 from 9 to 11 a.m. at Center Court-Level 1. Buddies & Bunnies will take place on Monday, April 1 and Monday, April 8 at Center Court – Level 1, where shoppers and their pets are invited to visit and take photos with the Easter Bunny. This family-friendly event will feature games, yummy treats and fun for all ages. Torrance

Del Amo Fashion will host several Easter Celebrations and Activities. The Bunny Photo Experience begins March 29 and runs through April 20. Children will have the chance to visit with the Bunny and take home a treasured snapshot of the fun occasion. Reserve FastPasses and skip the line by visiting http://www.simonbunny.com. Del Amo Fashion Center also provides a sensory-friendly Caring Bunny Event in association with Autism Speaks. Designed for families with all spectrums of special needs, Caring Bunny will occur on Sunday, April 7 from 9:30 to 11 a.m. prior to mall opening. The popular Pet Photo Night returns to the Easter Bunny Photo Experience on March 31 and April 14 from 6 to 8 p.m. Pet Photo nights are hosted after regular mall closing and the set gets an extensive cleaning following the event to remove any potential risk to allergy sufferers. On April 13, the center will host their annual Easter Eggstravaganza. From 12 to 2 p.m., the center’s Outdoor Village will transform into a spring activity zone with Easter-themed arts and crafts, a bunny petting zoo, sweet treats, lawn games and more. Families are encouraged to stop by the mall early for an Easter Egg Hunt. In addition to their Easter Eggstravaganza, the center will host a Disney Jr. Playdate on April 13. The City of Torrance celebrates Easter with Breakfast and a Visit with the Bunny on Saturday, April 20 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Toyota Meeting Hall. Join the fun at this special program that includes breakfast, a special performance by Buster Balloon, cookie decorating, a snapshot with the Bunny and more. Breakfast will be served from 9 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and seating is limited. No strollers or baby carriers will be permitted inside. Children 10 years of age and under must be accompanied by a paid adult. Please bring your camera for a photo with the Bunny. Tickets are $20.
