The City of Rancho Palos Verdes and the Society for California Veterinary Vaccine Care will hold a low-cost Pet Vaccination & Microchip Clinic on Saturday, October 29 from 10 a.m. to noon at Hesse Park.
Cat owners should come between 10 and 10:30 a.m., if possible, and dog owners from 10:30 a.m. to noon. All dogs at least 4 months of age are required by law to be vaccinated for rabies. Vaccines for cats will also be available at this clinic. Microchip services for cats and dogs will also be available.
Pet owners must be at least 18 years of age to participate. All pets must be on leashes or in carriers, and only healthy and non-pregnant animals will be vaccinated. Also, please bring the license tag, license renewal notice or prior rabies certificate to receive a three-year rabies vaccine for your dog; otherwise the rabies vaccine will be good for only one year. Please bring vaccine records if possible.
The Society for California Veterinary Vaccine Care will administer the low-cost vaccinations and provide microchip services for cats and dogs. Cash or Credit Cards will be accepted for vaccines and microchip services.
