The Palos Verdes Performing Arts Center starts the New Year off strong with three new shows!.

Backtrack A Capella
A YouTube sensation with millions of views, and performances at Carnegie Hall, Backtrack is a five-person a capella group that explores the power of the human voice through unique vocal arrangements, tight harmonies, and world-class beatboxing. The group has won numerous international awards, as well as Steve Harvey’s 2017 “Sing Off.” Backtrack infuses heart and humor into every performance and push the limits of a capella by creating impressive covers of past and present pop music, from the Beatles to Justin Timberlake, and daring to take on unexpected genres such as classical and electronic music. Ticket prices are $25-$40.

The Artimus Pyle Band
The Artimus Pyle Band, with Rock and Roll Hall of Fame drummer of Lynyrd Skynyrd himself, brings back all of the hits that changed music forever. More than just a tribute to Lynyrd Skynyrd, it’s a celebration of the legendary band’s wild man drummer from the height of their success. Having played alongside such greats as The Rolling Stones, The Charlie Daniels Band, and ZZ Top, the Artimus Pyle Band recreates the concert atmosphere of the 1970’s and 80’s with such massive hits as “Free Bird” and “Sweet Home Alabama,” transporting audiences to a free-wheeling, country rock paradise. Ticket prices range from $55-$95.

January 25 – February 3, 2019
The Three Musketeers
Palos Verdes Performing Arts presents the West Coast premiere of the humorous and witty adaptation of the epic novel by Alexandre Dumas. Filled with adventure, romance, intrigue, and swashbuckling swordplay, the play transports the audience to 17th Century France on a thrilling journey with the three heroes as they fight against the dishonest and seek to protect the ones they love. Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. Ticket prices are $30-$70.
