Resin Gallery Exhibition: Industry of Meaning

January 18 – February 15, 2020

The L.A. County Historical Society presents the exhibition Industry of Meaning opening Saturday, January 18 and running through February 15 at Resin Gallery.

Be immersed in the Industry of Meaning. This exhibit reflects an observation of the surf, skate, street and beach mediums and presents a 100 year retrospective of the creative ripple effect which surf, skate, street and beach mediums have had on culture and artists. This exhibit brings together fine artists, cultural icons and and a range of cultural artifacts.

There are over 50 participating artists in this exhibit, including cultural icons like Skip Englom and Jim Gonzer, both of whom have over 50 years in their respected mediums. Show curators Matt Wessen and Skip Engblom, both prolific surfers and founders of LA County Historical Society.
