September 27, 2021
MBSAFE will host a Community Meeting on Monday, September 27 at 7 p.m. via Zoom.
Ramon Rendon, Harbor Interfaith Beach Cities Coordinator, will take us, step-by-step, through the journey of the homeless people as they engage with our outreach team. What lies ahead for the homeless people who come to our town? What are the services we hear so much about? What are the options for dealing with the homeless people living long-term on our streets, who desperately need but refuse services?
What solutions do we have when their living conditions are disturbing and become a hazard to the community and themselves? What the residents of Manhattan Beach should do when they encounter a person experiencing homelessness? Ramon and Rita Crabtree-Kampe, Homeless Connect Chair, will address all your questions.
Please send your questions in advance at firstname.lastname@example.org and specify if the question is for Ramon or Rita. You might also ask questions via chat the day of the event.
