Rancho Palos Verdes Recreation & Parks Department will host a Low-Cost Pet Licensing, Vaccination & Microchip Clinic today, Thursday, May 19 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Hesse Park in the Upper Picnic Area.
Representatives from the Los Angeles County Department of Animal Care and Control and Society for California Veterinary Vaccine Care will be on site to process dog licenses and administer low-cost pet vaccinations and microchipping.
Any pet owner may renew or apply for a new dog license via the Internet at anytime. The LA County Animal Care and Control website address is http://animalcare.lacounty.gov. Owners applying for a new dog license must bring a copy of a valid rabies vaccination certificate and a copy of animal sterilization (to be eligible for the discounted license fee).
All dogs at least 4 months of age are required by law to be vaccinated for rabies. Vaccines for cats will also be available at this Clinic, in addition to microchips.
Please bring CASH OR CREDIT CARD for vaccines and microchips. CASH OR CHECK will be accepted for dog licensing.
