There will be teaching workshops all day long, for dulcimers, ukulele, autoharp, storytelling, bodhran, bowed psaltery, harmonica, drum/flute circle, shape-note singing, sing-along, music improv, and more.
The ticketed Evening Concert at 6 p.m. is open to the public and will include festival headliners, Mark Alan Wade on hammered dulcimer and Dave Haas on mountain dulcimer. Both performers are nationally known dulcimer players, and many excellent local players will also be teaching and jamming.
Food and beverages will be available for purchase, in addition to music vendors. Musicians young and old will be around the grounds, playing and singing.
