Each year, over 8,000 volunteers gather throughout Los Angeles County to take part in the Greater Los Angeles County Homeless Count.
Over the course of three days and nights, volunteers fan out across the County to determine how many homeless individuals and families there are in the region, identify their demographic characteristics, and the locations where they reside. This data is a critical tool to help secure and direct resources where they are most needed.
If you would like to volunteer to participate in the Homeless Count taking place January 21, 22, and 23, visit the website at http://www.theycountwillyou.org for more information and to register.
