Freedom4U Nonprofit Seeks Motivated Teens for Service Leadership Program

September 27, 2019

Freedom4U is launching its Service Leadership Program for the 2019-2020 school year.

The program, which runs throughout the school year, asks selected participants to choose an area of service for their project. They will be mentored by experienced staff throughout the year to develop important leadership skills, such as setting goals, public speaking, organizing and teamwork.

Teens will also gain vital knowledge on the logistics of charity work, including the administration of finances, budgets, supplies and resources. They will also learn to interface with other nonprofits and private businesses to provide service to the community.

Participants will have an opportunity to win a scholarship at the conclusion of the program.

Teens in the South Bay and Harbor Area are encouraged to apply. The deadline is November 1, 2019.
