The City of Torrance Rec & Sports Division presents a Flavored Vinegars Workshop today from 1 to 3 p.m. at Madrona Marsh Nature Center and Preserve.
Did you know that you can make your own salad dressings, sauces and vinegars from native greens and fruits? Join Professor Connie Vadheim for another great hands-on workshop. You’ll walk through Madrona Marsh’s native plants garden and learn about tasty natives that could be right in your backyard. Afterward, use the plants you’ve collected to make flavored vinegars.
The workshop costs $7 per person to cover the cost of supplies.
Pre-register by calling the Madrona Marsh Nature Center at (310) 782-3989.
Madrona Marsh Nature Center and Preserve is located at 3201 Plaza Del Amo in Torrance.
