Every Wednesday, the South Bay hosts three terrific Farmers’ Markets!
The new Hermosa Beach Farmers’ Market takes place on Pier Plaza every Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Make a day out of strolling the market and the surrounding local restaurants and shops, or stop by for your weekly grocery list of produce and healthy artisanal foods. The Hermosa Beach Farmers’ Market is a quintessential Southern California day with an unbeatable view.
The Lawndale Farmers’ Market is certified market operated by Lawndale Chamber of Commerce and Kiwanis Club of Lawndale. It is open every Wednesday from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. and is located at 147 Street and Hawthorne Boulevard. Parking is available in the Civic Center parking lot. Sample a variety of products from over 20 different vendors.
The Gardena Farmers’ Market is held in front of the Nakaoka Community Center located at 1670 West 162 Street every Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Buy fresh produce from local farmers featuring organic produce and fruit, fresh baked goods, hot peanuts, flowers and more.
