Virtual Associate Artists’ Show & Awards Reception

Destination: Art will host the Virtual Associate Artists’ Show & Awards Reception on Saturday, June 13 at 4 p.m. via Zoom.

Prizes will be awarded in Professional and Non-Professional categories, with entries by more than 40 local South Bay artists. Awards juror is the esteemed Frank Minuto.

Visitors to the Virtual Gallery will be able to vote for their favorite painting for the Art Lovers’ Choice Award, which will be announced at the end of June.

Grab a cocktail and your computer, it’s time to get Happy! Join the second virtual Happier Hour to help benefit Dress for Success World Wide West through a virtual charity event hosted by Style On The Spot.

The day of the event you will receive the Happpier Hour menu that will include celebrity guests, special activities and fabulous entertainers. An SOS event would not be complete without surprise giveaways that are planned throughout the evening. The giveaways will be announced throughout the call, and will be shipped and/or emailed directly to the winners.

Soroptimist International of Manhattan Beach presents LUNAFEST@Home on Saturday, June 27 via Vimeo.

The festival spotlights the work of a diverse array of talented women filmmakers with intelligent, funny, and thought-provoking themes. LUNAFEST connects women, their stories and their causes through film and offers an opportunity to see short films which you may otherwise never have access to. All of the net proceeds are donated to charity and Soroptimist programs to advance the status of women in the community.
