The Beach Shorts Film Fest features short films 6 to 10 minutes in length with surfing or beach lifestyles as the theme. Beach lifestyles covers a broad stroke and in the past has featured skateboarding, beach volleyball, sailing, sandcastle building and so much more.
Over the years, the filmmakers have varied as much as the films – from a 12 year old girl to a 66 year old grom.
All of these films are family friendly and the screening night is a fun-filled family evening. In addition to the awesome shorts films, the event also features art and photography on display from local artists.
The lucky winner of the raffle will bring home a brand new longboard courtesy of Shaper Adam Davenport and Davenport Surfboards. Raffle tickets are $1 each or 40 for $20.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with the festival beginning at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 per person.
