Beach Cities Free Fitness Series Mindful Yoga
Get moving with Beach Cities Free Fitness Series — a free community-wide event that brings together Beach Cities residents, fitness and fun! All ages and ability levels are welcome to participate— invite your friends and family to join, too! Visit www.bchd.org/freefitness for a full schedule of events and to register.

Blue Zones Project Monthly Social Hour
Join Beach Cities Health District for its monthly “Social Hour.” Bring your friends and family to mingle and enjoy healthy bites at a discount. Visit bchd.org/socialhour for more information.

Wednesday, July 10
Mindfulness Drop-in
Take 30 minutes to down shift and practice mindfulness techniques. Usually held the first Wednesday of each month at Beach Cities Health District from 5:30-6 p.m., the July Mindfulness Drop-in will be held July 10 due to the 4th of July holiday. The sessions will be led by trained staff. No prior experience with meditation or mindfulness is required.

Join Beach Cities Health District and Biologist Ann Dalkey for a FREE guided walking tour along the Esplanade to learn about and view the endangered El Segundo Blue Butterfly.

Families Connected Parent Chat
Families Connected Parent Chat, presented through a partnership between Beach Cities Health District and South Bay Families Connected, is a free support group open to all parents. The session will be led by a licensed professional from the Thelma McMillen Center at Torrance Memorial Medical Center and provides an opportunity to discuss shared parenting challenges.
