On our way home from dinner last night at Cafe Pinguini – a fabulous, little Italian restaurant in Playa del Rey – we took the coastal route along Vista del Mar. It was a hot, sultry night and as we drove by Dockweiler State Beach, we were enchanted by the sight of dozens of bonfires on the beach! Don’t you just love these hot summer nights?!?
